Hair update: Short and dark blonde

Here's how my hair turned out after my appointment with a new person. I'm happy with the color, but I've found some issues with the cut. (Some blunt ends if that makes sense. The whole cut was done with scissors and I think I'm more of a razor cut wig myself.) It would be very NYC of me to have one person for color and one person for cuts. I'll have two people for cuts, actually, because I'll never stop cutting it myself.

I was doing a little eBay photo shoot today with some vintage items.

I know it was so bleached before that it will fade back to be extremely light blonde in some parts, but I feel like these colors look pretty natural and my roots won't be too shocking.

Even though that's OK because I've got an appointment for late Feb...

    Two things:

    1) Did I or did I not see you at last year's A Little Murray Christmas and also at the after party? I was too shy to say hello to you but apparently not too shy to say hello to Alan Cumming. WTF.

    2) Did you say vintage Ebay listings...?

    1. YEs! You did see me at Murray's xmas. I need to do a post about that trip. We visited NYC and did all this not-new stuff but we did take a pic with Alan at that after party. You should have said "hello" but there's always next year!

      I'm going to put some stuff on ebay, yes. I haven't done it yet, but I took some photos. But I'm going to do it soon b/c there's this pile of clothes and purses on my guest bed :)

  3. I think the cut came out great!! I genuinely love it. I would love to get something like that... but I just fear that any stylist I would go to wouldn't be able to get it right. :( I'll have to learn to cut it myself.

    1. I cut this cut myself after noticing some errors. A girl stopped me the other night to ask who cuts it and I explained that I have to cut it myself.

      I think some of us are just better off cutting it ourselves. It's really a domestic thing to do, I think.

  4. aaah love it!! your hair is the best dynamic I've seen on the internets for that length. also gotta love the fact you have brough past reference cuts of your own hair.. hahaa <3

    i have 2 ladies now. the new one for the colour i'm warming up to, i mean ive got to when she turned my hair from almost black to a plat. blonde. and the one cutting my hair, i am SUPER attached to her since 2005 <3 she is a badass, i think :D
