About Me

I'm an only child. I have a husband. We live in Little Rock Arkansas.

We have a rescue-dog. She's a Brittany Spaniel. I met her when I was doing volunteer transport. I gave her a ride and fell in love.

I volunteer at President Clinton's library. In NYC I volunteered for Planned Parenthood.

I mostly cut my hair myself, but I've been the only person to cut my husband's hair in the last ten years.

I've been on The Martha Stewart show for a craft project I created. It was awesome.

I lived in New York City from 2007 - 2012 with my husband. He finished his education there. 

I worked for Patricia Field, the stylist from Sex and the City and The Devil Wears Prada and Ugly Betty. After that, I worked as a jacket fit model at a clothing company.

I have a degree in fine art and graphic design. 

I rode an overnight bus to attend Obama's Inauguration. I'm so glad I did. 

My husband and I attended the very first Post Secret exhibit/event ever. 

I also went to the Stewart-Colbert Rally to Restore Sanity.

  9. Julie! You are my lady bike commuter inspiration! I've been reading your blog for some time now and you have been such a big help. I actually just got a new Linus myself but I got a Mixte. I have a 15 mile round trip commute so biking in my work clothes is not an option. I'm super jealous of your adorable daily outfits. Keep up the great work and hopefully we will run across (not into) each other one day.

  11. Hi Julie. Nice blog! Came across it while doing a search for tree sweaters...go figure. I'm about to leave LR for Seattle, but have truly enjoyed it here (for the most part). Love the idea of cute commuting! And yes...GO HILARY!!! All the best to you, take care =)
